MODJADJI GUEST HOUSE provides accommodation in Floracliff Roodepoort, Johannesburg. Their name comes from the Rain Forest in Luvedo is the home of the Modjadji Rain Queen- a Southern African Legend. This legend originated in the 16th century and is today still told to be true, and to this day there still reigns a Queen over the Luvedo valley. The true origin of the Queen is in question and many versions of the truth have been told over the centuries. However, she is universally believed to be the divine transformer of the clouds, a highly respected and feared Queen in Africa; Not only because of her power to withhold and bestow rain, but mostly because of her feminine nature, the fairness of her skin and the secrets of her valley. She became a symbol of growth and fertility as well as destruction.
ACCOMMODATION:
All Modjadji Guest House rooms are beautifully designed with open- plan bathrooms, which provides for a very spacious atmosphere. The interior of each room is unique- and communicates warmth, comfort and luxury with a hint of an African Aesthetic. Each room has its own special features and these are collectively; juliet balconies, outside- showers, private gardens, telephone usage, DSTV, views overlooking the garden and pool. The Modajdji House takes pride in the comfort of its rooms- as the most important aspect of its services.
MODJADJI EXECUTIVE GUEST HOUSE CONFERENCING
Modjadji House provides an executive conference facility with a boardroom seating 25 delegates comfortably. Standard equipment is available, and Modjadji offers a wonderful package that includes beautifully prepared refreshments and lunches, with a hint of the South African legend.

An inviting swimming pool lurks in the middle of the Modjadji garden and beckons its guest to have sundowners on the outdoor terraced deck.

A Delightful Breakfast is served in the wonderful atmosphere of the inner courtyard. Modjadji House does not yet have a fully functioning restaurant; however, elegant lunches and dinners are served for in-house quests.
